Sela is in Kindergarten. She loves to color, so I collected some coloring pages from around the web and made a crude, but effective coloring book.

I’m happy to have had the privilege of growing up in a world with Leonard Nimoy. As Spock we watched him die, come back to life, and then hand his character off to a worthy successor in Zachary Quinto.
Here is his last tweet before traveling to the great unknown.
A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP

Check out this video of The Who performing Long Live Rock live in the studio. The host is very reverent to the band. But pretend he’s talking about Leonard Nimoy. And when they sing the song, change the chorus from Long Live Rock to Long Live Spock.
Pete kind-of forgets the words. You can go ahead and laugh with Keith Moon about that.
Remember that time we had a salad, drank a glass of water and went to bed early?

“One year ago, we knocked on the door. This year, we beat on the door. Next year, we’re going to kick the son of a bitch in.”
-Bum Phillips, Head Coach of the Houston Oilers in front of a crowd of Oilers fans on January 7, 1980 after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers two years on a row in the AFC Championship game. The next year the Oilers got knocked out in the first round.
One of the most disappointing playoff losses I’ve ever witnessed was when the New York Jets got shut out by the Miami Dolphins in the 1982 AFC Championship game. Jets quarterback Richard Todd had a horrendous game on a mud soaked field in south Florida. He threw 3 passes including a touchdown to A.J. Duhe who was on the opposing team.
Every time they went to commercial in the 4th quarter, they played Kenny Loggins’ “This Is It.” I recall watching my friend, a Jets fan, having a difficult time watching his team, and an equally difficult time putting up with the Yacht Rock.
I got a note in my fortune cookie which said, “Good luck is the result of good planning.” Excellent words of advice!
Act 1 of this show has music for a soundtrack to a movie that hasn’t been made.
